Position Summary We are seeking an energetic, organized, and service-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating positive employee experiences, planning events, supporting office operations, and helping foster an engaging company culture. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in employee engagement activities, company events, food and catering coordination, office support, reception coverage, and daily HR administrative functions. This individual will help ensure employees feel welcomed, appreciated, and supported while also assisting with the day-to-day needs of the HR department. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, personable, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Employee Engagement & Event Coordination
Coordinate employee appreciation events, celebrations, and company activities
Assist with planning and organizing employee lunches, meetings, holiday events, wellness activities, and team-building initiatives
Coordinate catering, food ordering, setup, and event logistics for departments and company functions
Help create a fun, engaging, and positive workplace culture
Support employee recognition programs including birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, and appreciation initiatives
Assist with decorating and preparation for company events and special occasions
Creative & Communication Support
Design and create employee flyers, announcements, event promotions, and internal communication materials using Canva or similar design platforms
Assist with creating visually engaging content for employee engagement initiatives and company events
Help maintain a creative and exciting communication style across internal HR announcements and activities
Support branding consistency for company culture and employee appreciation campaigns
Reception & Office Support
Serve as backup support for the front desk receptionist during vacations, absences, breaks, or high-volume periods
Greet and assist visitors, candidates, and employees in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls when needed
Assist with conference room coordination and office organization
Help maintain office supplies, breakroom inventory, and common areas
Human Resources Support
Assist with onboarding activities for new hires
Support employee file maintenance and HR administrative tasks
Coordinate background screenings, onboarding paperwork, and new hire communication
Assist with employee communications and internal announcements
Help maintain HR calendars, spreadsheets, and tracking logs
Support various HR projects and departmental initiatives as assigned
Administrative Coordination
Assist with invoice submission and vendor coordination for catering and events
Coordinate schedules and logistics for internal meetings and training sessions
Maintain organized records for employee engagement activities and events
Provide general administrative support to the HR team
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
Previous customer service, administrative, office support, event planning, or employee engagement experience is a plus
Experience using Canva or similar design tools preferred
Recent graduates encouraged to apply
