Review and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to guide execution
Review tenant drawings, provide timely comments, and support approvals through closeout
Partner with local municipalities to secure permits and coordinate inspections
Source, evaluate, and select contractors through a competitive bid process
Negotiate contracts and scopes to align cost, schedule, and quality expectations
Manage pay applications, draw requests, and change orders with a detail-oriented, controls mindset
Lead projects through regular site visits—tracking progress, resolving issues, and driving on-time, on-budget delivery
Communicate clear project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
Partner with Capital Markets on acquisitions and with Leasing on new deals and renewals to support timely tenant delivery
Maintain organized, audit-ready construction documentation aligned to firm policies and procedures
Take on additional projects and priorities as the portfolio evolves
Critical Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor’s degree (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred)
4+ years of construction experience (real estate investment firm and/or national service provider experience a plus)
Strong judgment and problem-solving skills; comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Clear, confident communicator (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results under tight deadlines
Proven negotiation skills and vendor-management experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word)
Willingness to travel ~30% across the U.S.
A proactive, “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset and the desire to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
If you’re excited by ownership, variety, and seeing projects through from concept to completion, we’d like to hear from you.
