General Summary The Social Media Assistant is responsible for supporting the brand’s social and content team through video editing, community management, content organization, and in-house content creation for upcoming campaigns and launches. This position supports the Wholesale business. The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our Dolce Vita office and requires working on-site. Key Responsibilities
Manage and support day-to-day social media content execution across platforms
Edit and produce short-form video content for digital and social channels
Oversee community management and audience engagement across social platforms
Organize and maintain content libraries, campaign assets, and social materials
Support in-house content creation for upcoming campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Specific Job Skills Essential duties include
Edit and format short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms
Assist with daily community management across social channels, including responding to comments and DMs
Organize and maintain content libraries, campaign assets, and internal folders
Capture and create in-house content for upcoming campaigns, launches, and social moments
Stay up to date on social trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, marketing, or a related field
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platform
Experience editing short-form video content using CapCut, or similar editing software
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Creative eye with a strong understanding of social-first storytelling and visual aesthetics
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $26.00-$28.00. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
