About SoliVana SoliVana is a boutique wellness lab and a research institute in Redwood City built for the overstimulated. Nine private wellness suites: float therapy, fire & ice contrast therapy, halotherapy, pressotherapy, EMTT pulsed magnetic therapy, and more, designed to decompress the nervous system and restore from high stress and burn out of Silicon Valley. Since opening in July 2023, we've served 3500+ clients, earned 500+ five-star reviews, and built something rare: a recovery destination that blends relaxation with measurable science. Now we're ready to grow, and we need a versatile marketing doer to own our digital presence and paid acquisition. The Role We're hiring an in-house, part-time Social Media Manager & Google Ads Specialist (22–28 hrs/week, W-2) to own two critical functions: (1) organic content creation and community management across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and (2) Google Ads campaign management to drive local bookings. This is a hands-on creator + performance marketing role . About 70% of your time will be spent creating content — shooting, editing, writing, and posting. The remaining 30% will go toward managing and optimizing our Google Ads campaigns (Search, Local, and Display) to convert local searchers into booked clients. One day a week you'll be on-site at our Redwood City location capturing content. The rest of the week you'll work remotely or from our space — your choice. Responsibilities — Organic Social (70%)
Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories) — 15–20 pieces per week
Design carousel posts, quote graphics, and story frames in Canva
Write scroll-stopping captions and copy in our brand voice: calm, intelligent, quietly luxurious
Manage daily posting and scheduling via Later or Buffer
Engage with comments and DMs across all platforms
Build and manage a micro-influencer outreach and partnership pipeline
Support LinkedIn thought leadership content for our founder's personal brand
Track organic performance metrics and report weekly
Responsibilities — Google Ads (30%)
Build, manage, and optimize Google Search Ads campaigns targeting high-intent local keywords (float therapy, cold plunge, wellness spa, infrared sauna, etc.)
Manage Google Business Profile updates, posts, and review response strategy
Set up and optimize Google Local Services Ads and Performance Max campaigns
Conduct keyword research using Google Keyword Planner and competitor analysis
Write ad copy, build landing page recommendations, and manage A/B tests
Monitor cost-per-booking, cost-per-click, and return on ad spend (ROAS)
Report weekly on ad performance, budget pacing, and actionable recommendations
Stay current on Google Ads platform changes and local search trends
What We're Looking For
1–3 years creating content for brands or businesses — portfolio required
Google Ads experience required: You have managed Search or Local campaigns with real budgets and can show measurable results (certification preferred but not required)
Native fluency in Instagram Reels and TikTok: you understand hooks, pacing, trends, and sounds
Comfortable shooting high-quality photo and video on an iPhone
Proficient in CapCut (or Premiere) and Canva
Strong writing skills — captions, ad copy, landing page copy
Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and clear goals
Bay Area local — must travel to Redwood City weekly for content day
Analytical mindset: you look at data, not just likes
Bonus: Meta Ads experience, wellness/beauty brand background, photography beyond iPhone
What Success Looks Like in 90 Days Social:
Instagram following grown from ~1,500 to 4,000+
TikTok launched and posting 3–5x/week
LinkedIn posting rhythm established (3x/week)
2–3 micro-influencer partnerships activated
15+ short-form videos produced per week consistently
Google Ads:
Google Ads account fully built and running (Search + Local)
Cost-per-booking below $60 within 60 days
10–20 booking inquiries/month directly attributed to paid search
Google Business Profile optimized and actively managed
Compensation & Benefits
$28–$38/hour · W-2 Part-Time · 22–28 hours/week
~12% payroll taxes covered by employer (Social Security, Medicare, unemployment)
One fixed 4-hour content day on-site (Tuesday or Wednesday)
