Role Description
The National Account Manager will lead strategic partnerships and manage relationships with key accounts to drive sales growth and market share expansion. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, developing account-specific strategies, and achieving sales targets. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, such as marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure the effective execution of account plans. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Somerset, NJ, and requires the candidate to maintain a deep understanding of pharmaceutical products and industry trends.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability in account management, relationship building, and sales leadership
  • Strong negotiation, financial analysis, and strategic planning skills
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales and knowledge of generic and specialty drug markets
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven decision-making methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Previous experience in managing National or Key Accounts is strongly preferred
