We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Air Quality Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of air quality regulations, advanced technical expertise, and a proven track record of leading complex projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the growth and success of our firm. Duties
Lead the planning, design, and implementation of environmental compliance projects, including: Title V and NSR air permit applications, performing emissions calculations, compliance assessments, and regulatory applicability determinations, supporting clients with compliance reporting and recordkeeping, and tracking regulatory changes.
Develop innovative solutions to address complex air quality challenges.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Conduct advanced air quality modeling and data analysis.
Prepare and review detailed technical reports and regulatory submissions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local air quality regulations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory changes in air quality management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in air quality engineering, with a proven track record of managing large and complex projects.
Deep expertise in air quality engineering.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in air quality modeling and data analysis tools.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
