About the role
Sodexo is seeking a per diem Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic and innovative team at SSM Health - St. Mary’s Hospital, a 440-bed acute care facility located in Madison, Wisconsin. Occasional opportunities to support nearby SSM Health hospitals may be required; mileage reimbursement is provided.

Position will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, and the ideal candidate will:
Periodic travel of up to 25% of scheduled hours may be required.
Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.

Position will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, and the ideal candidate will:
- Perform comprehensive nutritional evaluations and follow-up assessments for a variety of patient types working with the inpatient population
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department.
- Be a self-starter, independent, flexible, and team-oriented.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work and interact across all generations to make every day a better day for our clients and patients.
