**What You’ll Do**

As a Medical Equipment Planner I, you’ll help plan and manage the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects—coordinating with architects, vendors, and clinical users, maintaining accurate equipment lists, and supporting procurement and installation activities.

- Serve as a professional client interface—plan the medical equipment scope for healthcare projects and keep stakeholders informed.

- Attend onsite/remote planning sessions and user group meetings across all phases (SD, DD, CD, CA, Procurement & Equipment Management).

- Assist with the Medical Equipment Responsibilities Matrix; coordinate with design teams and attend OAC meetings as requested.

- Support vendor presentations/site visits and assist with RFP analyses per client request.

- Conduct room‑by‑room content reviews using ESP (proprietary software); request and implement client equipment standards.

- Obtain and compare quotes; update budgets; generate equipment lists within established standards and guidelines.

- Review drawings and coordinate equipment requirements; ensure dimensional accuracy and note changes clearly.

- Track the equipment budget; review/enter purchase orders; resolve purchase‑order issues; secure customer sign‑off for selections.

- Coordinate delivery, storage, and installation of medical equipment when contracted; assist with inventories and move‑management.

- Research emerging technologies/products; prepare close‑out packages and final reports at project completion.

- Set daily priorities to meet deadlines; maintain organized documentation and follow established planning processes.

**Minimum Requirements**

- Bachelor’s degree and / or related experience in the Healthcare environment and / or Clinical arena

- 1-2 years of medical equipment planning experience or related experience preferred

- Experience planning small projects in the acute care setting

**Looking For a Project Manager II/Mechanical Engineer (Sports)**

This position is currently a remote opportunity until the establishment of a formal office location within Kansas City. We are targeting the opening of our office in the Overland Park area in September. Upon the opening of the office, the role will transition to an in-office position with a hybrid work schedule, providing a flexible balance between on-site and work from home options."

The Project Manager II/Mechanical Engineer II (Sports) holds overall responsibility for assigned projects of low to medium scope and complexity. Project management duties involve planning and executing a management plan specific to each project, delivering quality products and services to the client in a timely manner, managing project financials, and serving as the primary contact between the SSR project team and the client. Responsible for Total Project Success on assigned projects for all results related to people, product, and profit.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Confirms the project scope and requirements with the client and other stakeholders, working with the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) or Location Leader as needed

- Helps develop a financial plan for the project by negotiating fees and contracts as may be appropriate, preparing the proposal letter, and participating in the man hour budgeting process; works with CRM or Location Leader as applicable

- Assists in developing the project staffing plan and preliminary man hour budget with the Senior Project Manager (PM), CRM, Department Head, or Location Leader as applicable

- Ensures a Project Coordinator (PC) is assigned to the project and works with the PC to have the client fill out the BIM Questionnaire to ensure proper model set up, model information flow, and management

- Participates in and learns how to structure project kick-off meetings to convey project scope, client expectations and standards, man hour budgets, etc.

- Works with design team to confirm a final man hour budget based on discipline work plans that identify tasks and hours to complete

- Works with the client to understand schedule expectations and, with team input, proposes interim milestones to the schedule for proper information flow, adjusting as necessary throughout the project

- Schedules work, communicates schedule information to the project team, monitors manpower requirements, and assists in updating eResource with current man hour projections

- Prepares and implements a proactive Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for projects

- Ensures that invoices are accurate and delivered in a timely manner, monitors and participates in collections of account receivables, and updates the projected monthly revenue earnings for each project

- Attends meetings with owners, clients, and architects; facilitates communication between clients and the project team; and documents important issues

- Monitors project budget throughout project and works with project team to schedule work in accordance with man hour budgets

- Identifies, negotiates, and administers fees for additional services as needed

- Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project and engages in business development activities with the current client base

- Performs risk assessments to develop response strategies; manages risks throughout the project

- Responds to contractor’s and client’s request for information quickly and efficiently

- Manages the Construction Administration (CA) process by designating CA personnel to ensure building systems are installed consistent with the design and predetermined quality standards

- Supervises the job closeout process to ensure documentation, lessons learned, and filings are complete

- Works alongside and engages with the Senior PM, CRM or Location Leader to increase knowledge of project scope, budgeting, and revenue projections

- Actively attends internal and external training and other educational opportunities to obtain knowledge in necessary technical areas

**An Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Requirements**

- Technical or Bachelor’s degree in one of the major technical disciplines practiced by the firm with ten years of practical experience on similar projects

- Professional Engineer Licensure

- Sports building design experience

- Healthcare building design experience preferred

The Civil EIT assists the senior design staff in the execution of technical activities required on assigned projects and learns discipline-specific technical standards and procedures. Assists the project team in the production of projects on time, within budget, and consistent with industry standards. **Looking for a Construction Administrator**

The Construction Administrator ensures that projects are constructed in accordance with requirements of the project plans and specifications during the construction phase. Coordinates communications and project decisions between contractors, suppliers, design team, and the owner’s representatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Administers the contracts and all paperwork required to carry a project through the complete construction phase, which includes final inspection and start-up

- Serves as the main point of contact between the contractor and the design team during the construction phase of a project

- Assists in evaluation of contractor proposals, bids, estimates, schedules, and change orders; advises the design team and owners’ representatives of needed decisions

- Maintains current knowledge of the owner-architect agreement and any additional service agreements

- Reports unusual and special conditions or requests from contractors/suppliers to the design team and/or owners representatives and assists in resolving problems

- Reviews requests for payments by contractors and suppliers

**An Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Requirements**

- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college with four years applicable experience in Mechanical or Electrical background

- Revit experience a must
