Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate for database administration, replication, and support. The role involves maintaining Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, and managing real-time data replication using GoldenGate.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Databases (11g/12c/19c)
- Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Manage backup and recovery using RMAN
- Handle user management, security, and access control
- Install, configure, and support Oracle GoldenGate
- Monitor GoldenGate processes (Extract, Replicat, Manager)
- Troubleshoot GoldenGate replication issues and data lag
- Perform database patching and upgrades
- Ensure database high availability and disaster recovery
- Support production and non-production environments
- Work with application and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Oracle DBA activities
- Good knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate replication
- Experience with backup, recovery, and performance tuning
- Understanding of Data Guard (preferred)
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands
- Basic shell scripting knowledge
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
