**Who We Are Looking For**

The Thermal Systems group at Slate is looking for an upbeat, fun, organized, experienced Engineer, Thermal System to join our growing team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to pedal

Day-to-day supplier issue tracking, control and calibration interface coordination, change management and issue triage across subsystem, DV build plan support, integration firefighting, controls alignment.

**What You Get To Do**

As a member of the Thermal Systems Engineering group, the Thermal System Engineer will be responsible for integrating key parts of the thermal components in the vehicle.

Prototype and production intent vehicle thermal support.

Translate vehicle requirements/functional objectives and formulate development and testing plans.

The Thermal System Engineer will work with SLATE suppliers (through Development Phases Alpha, Beta, PV, Product intent)) and with SLATE cross-functional teams (Chief Engineer, architecture, purchasing, program manager, and quality engineers) to ensure the successful launch and release.

Define, execute and supervise design verification plans (DVP) and reporting

Support production ramp and field issue resolution

- Provide program deliverables on time per major development milestones

- Thermal change management (documentation of changes, and approval from change management board)

- Execute programs through the development process that meet or exceed objectives for performance, drivability and customer satisfaction

- Experience in CAN tools, INCA Calibration Tools and documentation creation

**What You Bring To The Team**

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field

- Minimum of 5 years in relevant experience (thermal system, parts sourcing, sw/hw knowledge in controls, calibration, and/or testing)

- Ability to review component technical specification, subsystem technical specification, understanding thermal components, and thermal architecture.

- Previous Hybrid or electrification vehicle experience

- Demonstrated experience with thermal mechatronic and DVP&R through the complete product cycle

- Experience in problem solving

- Strong technical research and writing skills

- Strong communication skills

- Master’s degree in engineering

- Experience in the full product life cycle

- Reactive and/or DFSS black belt

- HW/SW knowledge and validation/release experience

Thermal System Engineer

**| WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

We’re looking for a highly organized, resourceful, and proactive Social Producer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be the logistical backbone of our fast-paced and scrappy social content operation—coordinating shoots, managing deliverables, and ensuring our team is set up for creative success. You’ll be working closely with strategists, creatives, and influencer marketing leads to bring scroll-stopping social content to life.

**| WHAT YOU GET TO DO**

- Shoot Production & Logistics:

- Lead coordination for 3x monthly social shoots, including:

- Location scouting and permit procurement

- Talent identification and booking

- Prop procurement and management

- Transportation logistics

- Day-of coordination and wrap support

- Pre-Shoot Communication:

- Proactively communicate access and logistics needs to internal teams (ex. vehicle availability, garage access, security clearance, etc) to avoid last-minute blockers.

- Help structure shoot days with efficiency in mind to keep shoot days short and volume of content high.

- Manage schedules and expectations to allow each team member to focus on their core responsibilities.

- Creative Sync & Pre-Production:

- Partner closely with the creative team to:

- Build and maintain detailed run-of-show documents

- Develop shot lists

- Schedule prep meetings and ensure alignment leading into shoot days

- Influencer Event Support:

- Assist in producing social influencer events by securing venues, ordering food, booking transportation and travel, and managing day-of logistics.

- Allow Influencer Marketing Manager to focus on relationship-building and partner engagement, while you support bringing events and influencer moments to life.

- Asset Delivery Management:

- Work closely with strategists to map out timelines that align asset production with go-live dates.

- Oversee the delivery, editing, and approval schedule for all content across channels. Ideal candidate is familiar with platforms like HeyOrca and Smartsheets.

- We post ~20x/month on Instagram and distribute across 9 platforms-your coordination will keep the engine running smoothly and on time.

- Ensure all creative assets are properly uploaded, categorized, and maintained in Brandfolder.

**| WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM**

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in social production, event coordination, or content project management

- Highly detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple moving parts

- Excellent communicator and collaborator

- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environments

- Flexible with early mornings, late nights, and on-site shoots 3-4 days per month. Able to travel on an ad-hoc basis.

- Passion for social media and content creation a plus

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Passion for brand storytelling, community engagement, and building meaningful connections online.

- Strong proficiency with Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
