About the role
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Healthcare IT Delivery Lead to oversee and drive execution across multiple IT workstreams within a health plan environment as part of a large-scale consulting and managed services partnership.
This role will serve as the primary delivery leader, responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring efficient, high-quality delivery across complex initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple IT workstreams within a health plan environment
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for delivery execution, quality, and performance
- Coordinate and optimize resources across workstreams, ensuring alignment to priorities, timelines, and budgets
- Drive delivery efficiency and continuous improvement across processes and teams
- Partner with client stakeholders across IT, operations, and business leadership to align on priorities and outcomes
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations across programs
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and delivery metrics
- Provide clear and consistent status reporting and governance across all workstreams
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper staffing, skill alignment, and delivery excellence
Education and Experience
- 7-12+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with a strong focus on health plan environments
- Proven experience leading large-scale delivery or managed services engagements
- Deep knowledge of health plan core systems and business processes, including:
- Claims platforms (e.g., Facets)
- Care management systems (e.g., GuidingCare)
- EDI platforms and transaction processing (e.g., Edifecs)
- Provider data and network management
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of delivery governance, resource management, and operational efficiency
- Experience working within or alongside consulting organizations or managed service providers
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
