Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Optimize database queries and server performance
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
- Troubleshoot and debug backend issues
- Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Maintain technical documentation and best practices
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of backend programming languages such as:
- Node.js
- Python
- Java
- PHP
- Golang
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
- Knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Understanding of authentication and security practices
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Docker or containerization is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
