This is an onsite position for a motivated, hands-on engineer who has knowledge of and experience with electro-mechanical devices.
Job Summary
- Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices, and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
- General responsibilities include design concept generation, participation in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specifications, reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.
- Makes independent decisions and assists in the development of manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.
Job Responsibilities / Qualifications
- Learns and applies company concepts, policies, procedures, and standard practices.
- Normally receives detailed directions on assigned work.
- Works on projects of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of identifiable factors.
- Makes suggestions to improve work processes.
- Assists in reducing to practice patentable inventions.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
- Participates in technical team activities.
- Presents and discusses data within the group.
- Monitors work to ensure quality and continuously promotes a “Quality First Time” mindset.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of basic and specialized engineering techniques.
- Familiarity with searching technical literature.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, graphical, and presentation software applications.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience.
