At Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront , we are looking for a Night Auditor who takes pride in delivering excellent guest service while keeping the hotel’s overnight operations accurate, organized, and secure. As a Night Auditor, you are the overnight face of the hotel. You will welcome late arrivals, assist current guests, balance daily transactions, and help prepare the property for a smooth start to the next day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems calmly, and creating a positive guest experience every time. What You’ll Do
Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and service-focused attitude
Complete guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and reservations
Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously
Balance and reconcile daily hotel revenue, payments, and reports
Perform the nightly audit and ensure all financial transactions are accurate
Prepare required reports for management and the next day’s operations
Maintain front desk organization, cleanliness, and brand presentation
Monitor hotel activity overnight and follow security and safety procedures
Communicate important notes, guest issues, and operational updates to the day team
Support a positive team environment and represent the hotel professionally at all times
What We’re Looking For
Prior hotel front desk, night audit, guest service, or cash-handling experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Good computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
Ability to work independently and stay organized during overnight shifts
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Professional demeanor and problem-solving mindset
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
