About the role

Product Manager — AI-Native Travel Experience (Agentic Systems)
We are building a deeply personal, AI-native travel companion designed to become the default way people plan, book, and experience travel over a lifetime. Travel is one of the most meaningful parts of life — yet today’s tools remain fragmented, transactional, and impersonal. We are rethinking this from first principles.
Our product is built around an intelligent agent that learns the user over time, applies judgment, and reduces complexity — making travel more personal, seamless, and meaningful.
We are seeking a Product Manager to own a core area of the product end-to-end, shaping how users interact with an AI travel agent that plans, recommends, and executes travel decisions on their behalf.
What You’ll Do
Own a Core Product Surface End-to-End
Depending on company priorities, you may own one of the following areas:
  • Planning & Discovery — how the system understands users, builds preferences, and co-creates trips
  • Booking & Optimization — how the system commits on behalf of users and ensures optimal outcomes

In either case, you will own strategy, execution, and measurement from end to end.
Design Agentic Product Behavior
  • Define what the AI agent should do, recommend, and communicate
  • Design guardrails, policies, and behavioral frameworks for agent reliability and trust
  • Balance usefulness with safety and user trust in non-deterministic systems

Build and Iterate Rapidly
  • Translate ambiguous user needs into clear product requirements across UX, systems, and agent behavior
  • Run fast, structured experimentation loops during private beta
  • Ship MVPs quickly, measure outcomes honestly, and iterate based on real user behavior

Partner Across Design and Engineering
  • Work closely with design to create high-quality conversational and visual experiences
  • Collaborate with engineering and AI teams on:
  • Retrieval and personalization systems
  • Tool use and orchestration workflows
  • Transactional booking flows
  • Monitoring and evaluation systems

Define Measurement and Truth
  • Build rigorous measurement frameworks combining qualitative and quantitative signals
  • Define success metrics tied to real user outcomes, not vanity metrics
  • Use product analytics to identify issues and guide roadmap decisions

Lead With Clarity and Judgment
  • Act as a truth-teller in product decisions — challenge weak assumptions and unclear thinking
  • Write clear, decisive product specs and make trade-offs explicit
  • Maintain high standards for product quality and user experience

How You Work
  • Use AI as a core productivity multiplier across research, writing, prototyping, and analysis
  • Operate with high autonomy in ambiguous environments
  • Drive momentum without waiting for direction or permission
  • Default to action and experimentation over speculation

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–10+ years of product management experience (level calibrated based on impact and trajectory)
  • Strong product intuition and consumer-grade taste
  • Proven ability to ship in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Excellent written communication and structured thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to define metrics and evaluate product success rigorously
  • Deep, practical use of AI tools in day-to-day product work (not just familiarity, but fluency)
  • Founder mindset: ownership, urgency, and bias toward action

Strong Plus If You Have
  • Experience building AI-native products (LLMs, agents, personalization, or retrieval systems)
  • Experience with complex transactional systems (payments, orchestration, multi-step workflows)
  • Background in travel, marketplaces, fintech, or other high-trust consumer domains
  • Experience designing human + AI hybrid workflows with guardrails and escalation paths
  • Early-stage or 0→1 product experience
  • Ability to prototype using tools like Figma, SQL, or lightweight scripting

Why This Role Matters
  • Define what it means for an AI agent to act on behalf of users in real-world decisions
  • Help build a new category of consumer product centered on trust, judgment, and personalization
  • Work at the frontier of AI-native product design and agentic systems
  • Shape how millions of people will experience travel in the future

About the Company
We are a small, senior team building an AI-native travel platform from the ground up. We operate with high trust, high standards, and a bias toward action. We value clarity, speed, and truth over comfort.
We are committed to building an inclusive workplace and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
