Hi, we’re **Search Atlas **! We’re a rapidly growing SEO software company and full-service digital agency that helps websites improve their Google performance. From Fortune 500 companies to Silicon Valley startups, our clients trust us to drive results.

We're seeking a **Lead Product Designer ** to serve as the senior design leader responsible for overseeing our design team and driving overall design strategy and execution. This is a strategic leadership role that balances team management, design process optimization, and hands-on design work. You’ll collaborate closely with executive leadership and the broader product team to ensure design excellence across all initiatives while mentoring and developing high-performing designers.

This role is based in **San Francisco. ** We are opening our SF office in the coming months - and we'll be operating with a hybrid work model.

**Key Responsibilities **

**Team & Process Management **

- Oversee and mentor the design team, fostering their professional development

- Optimize design processes and workflows for maximum efficiency and quality

- Plan and prioritize design projects in alignment with business objectives

- Track project timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery

- Maintain design documentation and assets for team accessibility

**Design & Prototyping **

- Contribute hands-on design work including prototype development in Figma

- Create wireframes and design specifications using Figma and Claude

- Conduct and support focus group sessions and user research initiatives

- Collaborate with Product team on discovery sessions

- Stay current with design trends and industry best practices

**Cross-Functional Collaboration **

- Partner with executive leadership on strategic design initiatives

- Work closely with the Product team to align design with business goals

- Communicate design decisions and rationale across the organization

**Required Skills & Qualifications **

- Proven experience as a design leader or senior designer managing teams

- Expert proficiency in Figma (prototyping and wireframing)

- Experience with Claude for design collaboration

- Strong understanding of research and testing methodologies

- Familiarity with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Clarity)

- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities

- Startup experience with demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities

**Compensation & Benefits **

- Base Salary: $160,000 – $185,000

Our CEO and COO are high-energy entrepreneurs who move at speed — and they need a right-hand person who can keep up, anticipate what's next, and make things happen on the ground in SF.

**This Isn't Your Average Assistant Role **

We're not looking for someone who's great at sitting behind a desk. We're looking for a hustler — someone who's energetic, ambitious, and genuinely excited to be in the room where it happens at a fast-growing SaaS company.

You'll be supporting both our COO and CEO directly, and you won't be doing it alone. You'll be joining a team of 2 other remote assistants — but as the only one based in San Francisco, you're the boots on the ground. The person who can actually show up, make things happen in person, and bring the whole team's work to life in the real world.

**What You'll Actually Be Doing **

- Own the Calendars You're the gatekeeper for two busy executives. You'll manage complex, fast-moving schedules and make sure the CEO and COO's time is always protected and optimized. No double-bookings. No missed meetings. No surprises.

- Drive Networking & Community This is a big one. San Francisco is a city full of opportunity, and we want to attack it intentionally. You'll help map out the SF ecosystem, identify events and circles worth being in, get us registered and in the room, and help us build a network of hundreds of meaningful relationships. Think of yourself as a co-strategist!

- Plan & Host Events From intimate dinners to larger gatherings, you'll help conceptualize, plan, and execute events that build our brand and community in SF. You'll own the logistics from start to finish.

- Help Build Our Office We're setting up our San Francisco office and need someone on the ground to help make it happen. You'll step in as a part-time office manager — handling things that simply can't be done remotely. Vendors, setup, day-to-day operations — you'll be the person who makes it all work.

- Support Executive Operations Calendar and email management, travel coordination, briefings, and keeping both the CEO and COO organized and ahead of schedule. You'll also leverage AI tools daily to work faster and smarter.

**Who you are **

- 5+ years of experience as a **strategic Executive Assistant ** supporting **C-level leadership ** within a high-growth startup environment

- Type A to the core — organized, proactive, and a step ahead at all times

- High energy and people-first — you light up in a room and make things happen

- Hungry to grow — this is a launchpad role, and you'll treat it that way

- San Francisco-based and ready to be present and in-person regularly

- AI-native — you use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Clickup as daily productivity weapons

- Discreet and trustworthy — you handle sensitive information with total professionalism
