We have an immediate opening for a full-time or part-time Laboratory Technician to be based at our office in Somersworth, New Hampshire. As a Laboratory Technician you will work mostly in the lab performing construction materials testing on samples of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, aggregate and other materials associated with a variety of construction projects, and reporting the results. Youll also help maint ain and organiz e the laboratory. You will typically work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work opportunities based on project needs. To thrive in this role, you won't need prior Experience to learn and be successful
we will train you and pay you while you learn.
Familiarity with Microsoft excel and prior experience working in a lab environment is helpful for someone entering this position but is not required. Most days you will conduct a variety of laboratory tests

will read, le Arn About , and apply written testing standards. You will work with other laboratory and field technicians, interns andmanagers. The work can be physical at times: you will lift and carry samplesand equipment.You may drive to pick up samples at a job site or perform materials testing in the field, however, this would be on an occasional and as-needed basis.We do require a high school diploma or equivalent, and to perform this job you will need to do some basic math and write or type your observations and test results.Safely conducting yourself and the equipment we entrust to you is a must.
