Job Description Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club Horticulture 2 The Horticulture Department requires team-oriented members that are quality driven and detail oriented, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of the horticulture world and how it works here at Golden Ocala. Additionally, we require a strong work ethic, both as a team and individually. The ability to communicate well with others and to take direction are a must. Mutual respect between team members is essential in developing a strong program. The Horticulture team works 40 hours per week with occasional Saturday assignments based upon club requirements. Educational Requirements

Experience Requirement
Should have some experience in either the field of horticulture or grounds maintenance
Should have a basic knowledge of most equipment used in the fields of horticulture and grounds maintenance
Some knowledge of horticulture standards and processes
Ability to work outside, year round
Have a good attitude and team mentality
Be able to follow directions and make appropriate decisions on the job
Have good time awareness and ability to stay on task

Salary $16.00 per hour After 120 day probationary period ($1.00 increase)
