Job Description
The Operations Data Technician supports field and operational teams by managing, tracking, and maintaining critical operational data across multiple systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring data accuracy, supporting reporting requirements, and enabling efficient operations across production, maintenance, and project activities.
The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple platforms and teams in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Enter and maintain data across multiple systems, including SharePoint, Excel, and other operational databases.
  • Track and monitor operational activities such as production, maintenance, drilling, completions, and related processes.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required, including partner and operational reporting.
  • Code and process invoices, field tickets, and related documentation.
  • Maintain site records, including digital and paper-based files.
  • Coordinate and order operational materials such as signage and documentation.
  • Create basic presentations and materials for meetings and operational reviews.
  • Document and organize meetings, including notes and action items.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to operations teams and leadership.
  • Assist with training and onboarding support as needed.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Provide backup support for other team members when required.

Required
Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred
  • Associate’s degree or relevant college coursework.
  • Experience with oil and gas data systems and databases.
  • Familiarity with industry software such as Peloton (WellView/SiteView), Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in operations, production, or technical support environments.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.

Job Details
Pay: $28.54-$31.14
Location: Midland, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday
