About the role
A University client is seeking a Junior Accountant for a temporary role (3-6 months, possible extension) to manage student receivable accounts. The position offers a $30/hr pay rate, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote) in Piscataway, NJ. Key duties include reviewing and processing cash receipts, reconciling accounts, approving journal entries, supporting refunds, and performing general ledger activities within Oracle Financials.
Requirements include knowledge of GAAP, AR experience, Oracle Financials expertise, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office. Prior higher education experience is a plus.
