About The Role You will design and improve STEM learning experiences for Canadian-aligned programs delivered through Rex.zone partner platforms. This full-time remote role spans curriculum mapping, lesson and lab creation, formative and summative assessment authoring, and continuous content QA. You will collaborate with product and engineering to translate learning objectives into interactive content, ensure instructional integrity, and iterate using learner data and educator feedback. What You Will Do
Design curriculum-aligned STEM modules for Canadian contexts (K–12, post-secondary, or workforce upskilling)
Author lesson plans, teacher notes, student activities, and lab or simulation guides
Create assessment items (MCQ, short answer, performance tasks) with rubrics and answer keys
Run content quality assurance for accuracy, clarity, bias, and accessibility (A11y)
Partner with engineers to implement content in an LMS or content management system
Use learning analytics to identify gaps and propose improvements to instruction and assessment
Develop documentation (style guides, standards mapping, review checklists) to scale production
Coordinate reviews with subject matter experts and incorporate feedback cycles
Required Qualifications
Mid-Senior experience in STEM education, instructional design, curriculum development, or education technology
Strong STEM subject proficiency (science, math, engineering, or computer science) and ability to explain concepts clearly
Experience creating standards-aligned learning materials and assessment content
Working knowledge of LMS/content tools and structured content workflows
Ability to apply QA practices to educational content (fact-checking, consistency, readability)
Strong stakeholder communication across educators, product, and engineering teams
