Position Summary
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing IT team onsite at Restoration Apparel Company, a dynamic sports uniforms and clothing company. This is an excellent opportunity for developers with meaningful professional experience to take on a high-impact role in a fast-moving, hands-on environment.
As a key contributor on our small engineering team, you’ll work closely with our Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and own meaningful portions of our technology stack. Unlike larger organizations where work is siloed, you’ll touch everything from front-end interfaces to back-end systems, APIs, and infrastructure—building and enhancing tools that directly support our business operations and customer-facing products.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives with ownership, enjoys solving real problems end-to-end, and is excited to see the direct results of their work. As part of a small, growing team, you’ll have a meaningful voice in shaping our technical culture, influencing architecture decisions, and contributing to the strategic direction of our digital infrastructure. If you’re passionate about writing clean, well-crafted code and ready to make an outsized impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain features across our customer-facing website and internal tooling, including full ownership of feature areas end-to-end
  • Collaborate with the marketing and merchandising teams to implement new content, pages, and functionality as we expand our product lines and service offerings
  • Build and improve internal tools and applications that increase operational efficiency and enhance daily workflow for office staff
  • Participate in full-stack web development across front-end and back-end systems, with exposure to our complete technology ecosystem
  • Work closely with the Senior Software Engineer to troubleshoot complex issues, implement scalable solutions, and establish engineering best practices
  • Contribute meaningfully to technical planning, architecture decisions, and roadmap discussions as we scale our digital presence
  • Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code; actively participate in code reviews to support team growth and knowledge sharing
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools responsibly and ethically to enhance output quality and development velocity

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2–4 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and at least one server-side language (Go, Python, Node.js, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of full-stack web development principles, including REST APIs, databases, and deployment concepts
  • Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte, or similar)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and containerization (Docker)
  • Experience working in a small team or startup environment with broad, cross-functional responsibilities
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code concepts
