Renewable Solar Inc. (RSI) is a rapidly growing Solar PV Engineering, Construction, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) company, managing a diverse portfolio of operational ground-mount and rooftop solar assets. RSI is committed to maintaining high system performance, safety, and reliability across its fleet through disciplined maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational excellence The O&M Operations Manager will lead the operational administration of RSI’s O&M department, ensuring efficient management of systems, processes, and customer support functions that sustain RSI’s growing solar asset portfolio. This role is responsible for the ongoing management and optimization of RSI’s Asset Management (AM) system, including oversight of work order management, repair coordination, preventative and predictive maintenance scheduling, equipment warranties, contract periods, WREGIS registrations, invoice generation, customer billing analysis, and operational reporting. In addition, this position will perform utility billing analysis for customers to evaluate usage patterns, utility rate schedules, and tariff structures to ensure customers are enrolled in the most advantageous rate plans to maximize photovoltaic system performance and economic value. Responsibilities: A. Asset Data Management and System Integration Manage and maintain the asset management system for approximately 500 solar sites, ensuring facility data remains accurate, complete, and up to date across all assets, including equipment details, warranty information, RSI service levels, customer records, and operational documentation. Oversee continuous improvement of system workflows, data governance, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency. B. Maintenance Work Order Optimization Manage the work order system to support efficient tracking of repair work orders, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and equipment wash schedules. Partner with the Maintenance Manager to streamline maintenance request processing, technician dispatching, work prioritization, and service completion tracking. Monitor operational performance metrics to improve response times, maintenance effectiveness, and customer service delivery. C. Maintenance and Work Order Optimization Ensure the maintenance management system maintains accurate records of warranty coverage, contract terms, service agreements, and customer obligations. Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to track warranty claims, contract renewals, compliance deadlines, and regulatory reporting requirements, including WREGIS registrations. D. Financial Operations, Billing Analysis, and Reporting Support invoice generation for reimbursable work by ensuring completed maintenance activities are accurately linked to financial reporting systems. Perform customer utility billing analysis to evaluate consumption trends, utility tariffs, rate schedules, and billing structures to identify optimization opportunities that improve solar system economics and customer savings. Work with customers and internal stakeholders to recommend rate schedule adjustments aligned with photovoltaic production profiles, demand charges, TOU structures, and net metering program requirements. Generate operational and financial reports related to maintenance performance, asset status, customer billing optimization, service compliance, and operational efficiency. D. Stakeholder Collaboration and System Improvement Collaborate closely with O&M maintenance teams, finance, IT, customer service, and leadership to continuously improve operational systems, asset data integrity, customer reporting, and workflow effectiveness. Support the development of scalable operational processes that accommodate RSI’s continued portfolio growth. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of operations management, systems administration, or asset operations experience, preferably in renewable energy, utilities, facilities management, or related industries. Solar industry experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate:
Strong operations management and process improvement experience
Experience managing asset or maintenance management systems
Analytical experience with billing, utility data, financial reporting, or operational metrics
Familiarity with utility rate structures, TOU billing, net metering, or energy billing analysis (preferred)
Strong organizational and project coordination skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems platforms
Understanding of the asset lifecycle from contract execution through engineering, construction, commissioning, and O&M is strongly preferred. Tools

Supervisory Controls This is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing 1–2 personnel, including an Operations Systems Coordinator. This position reports to the Director of Operations Support. Expected schedule is 40–45 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with minimal overtime or weekend work expected. Compensation: This is a salaried position with a compensation range of $90,000–$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include :
