2. About the Opportunity:The Technical Writer role supports the Policy and Control Operations team within Information Security. This position is responsible for producing clear and accurate technical documentation, including policies, procedures, and standards related to IT security. The role plays a critical part in ensuring internal program inquiries are resolved efficiently through effective communication and documentation, thereby supporting the organization''s overall information security objectives.
3. Responsibilities:• Write and develop original technical documentation
• Provide writing support to resolve internal program inquiries
• Collaborate with team members to address questions and issues promptly
• Ensure documentation accuracy, proper notification, escalation, tracking, and follow-up
• Review and edit documents related to IT products, policies, security standards, processes, and deployments
• Conduct research, analyze data, and produce reports
• Communicate with engineers and subject matter experts to document and publish standard operating procedures
• Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and completion of all work products
• Clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences in writing and verbally
4. Requirements:• U.S. Citizenship required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing
• Strong command of the English language
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Effective time management across multiple projects and deadlines
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and IT security challenges
• Skills in technical writing, attention to detail, problem solving, critical thinking, and technical proficiency
• Knowledge of government compliance standards

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The pay range for this position in specified states and cities is $91,300 to $184,500 USD
• Compensation varies based on location, role, skills, and experience
