2. About the Opportunity:The Staff Accountant supports the Finance team by managing key accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes. This role is designed for an early-career professional eager to take on greater responsibility and gain broad experience across the full accounting cycle. The position contributes by ensuring accuracy in financial operations, supporting month-end close, tax, and audit activities, and collaborating across teams to maintain revenue process integrity. There is a strong emphasis on leveraging automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and modernize accounting workflows as the organization scales.
3. Responsibilities:• Manage accounts payable including invoice review, coding, and vendor coordination
• Support accounts receivable processes such as billing and payment tracking
• Assist with collections and coordinate with internal teams on outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Collaborate with Finance and Go-To-Market teams to support billing and revenue workflows linked to Salesforce
• Ensure accuracy of customer, contract, and billing data across systems
• Reconcile data between Salesforce and accounting systems for revenue reporting
• Improve processes and data integrity in revenue and finance systems
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Support and progressively take ownership of month-end close tasks
• Assist in preparing financial and internal reports
• Aid in tax filing preparation and support external audits
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
• Maintain accounting system accuracy and financial data integrity
• Identify and implement automation and process improvements using tools and AI
• Document workflows and ensure consistent process adherence
4. Requirements:• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles; GAAP exposure preferred
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger processes
• Experience working with or supporting CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Interest in automation, systems, or AI tools for workflow improvements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
