2. About the Opportunity:The Senior BI Reporting Analyst role supports the Technology Product Operations (TPO) team by developing and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards. This position enables data-driven decision-making through collaboration with product teams, translating business needs into actionable analytics solutions that enhance operational performance.
3. Responsibilities:• Develop and refine reporting standards, dashboard design, and visualization methodologies for TPO.
• Collaborate with product owners and managers to identify reporting requirements and convert them into analytical solutions.
• Document business needs for metrics, KPIs, and dashboard designs to align with stakeholder goals.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications, data definitions, and wireframes for scalable reporting.
• Advise on metric design, data interpretation, and reporting best practices.
• Maintain backlog items and documentation reflecting project priorities and progress.
• Present analytics prototypes and reports to gather feedback and promote adoption.
• Analyze complex datasets using Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric to inform business decisions.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, semantic models, dashboards, and reports integrating multiple data sources.
• Monitor and improve report and dashboard usability, accuracy, and performance.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues with existing analytics tools.
• Investigate and correct data quality and reporting discrepancies.
• Manage smaller reporting projects and contribute to larger cross-functional analytics initiatives.
4. Requirements:• Undergraduate degree in technology or business, or equivalent experience/certifications.
• Minimum 5 years in data analytics or a related field.
• At least 3 years developing and managing reports and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience querying and manipulating large datasets with SQL.
• Proven skills in data storytelling and visualization for actionable insights.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience in data modeling, ETL, leading data strategy, Jira data, DAX or Python programming, Microsoft Azure or Fabric, Snowflake data warehouse, SAFe methodologies, AI modeling, and Agile practices.
