About the Opportunity:The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for the organization''s SaaS application, covering both API and UI layers. The position also involves contributing to load and performance testing to ensure system scalability and reliability. As a senior team member, the role includes mentoring peers, promoting best practices in automation and testing, and driving quality improvements across a distributed engineering team.
3. Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites for API and UI layers
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define and implement testing strategies
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enhance efficiency and delivery speed
• Contribute to load, stress, and endurance testing to validate system performance
• Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams on solutions
• Analyze test failures and create actionable defect reports
• Validate software against requirements to maintain quality standards
• Perform manual testing when automation is not suitable
• Promote consistent testing practices across distributed development teams
• Recommend improvements to automation and quality processes
• Mentor team members on automation development, design patterns, and testing strategies
• Provide technical leadership in building maintainable and reusable test frameworks
4. Requirements:• Minimum 8 years experience in an Agile, collaborative, team-based environment
• At least 5 years developing API and UI test automation solutions
• Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, or Playwright
• Experience in load and performance testing using tools like JMeter, k6, or Gatling
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Proficient in C#, Java, or JavaScript
• Solid knowledge of web and browser technologies
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Salary range: $95,000 to $125,000
