2. About the Opportunity:The Senior Manager, Procurement & Vendor Management will design and lead the end-to-end sourcing and vendor management function. This role is responsible for selecting, negotiating with, and managing key partners that support critical business areas, including underwriting data and SaaS tools. The position works closely with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and Operations leadership to ensure spending delivers maximum value and partnerships support scalable growth.
3. Responsibilities:• Lead vendor selection across business units including Technology/SaaS, Underwriting Data, Professional Services, and Marketing
• Negotiate complex, high-value contracts focusing on cost, flexibility, service levels, and scalability
• Manage ongoing vendor relationships with regular performance reviews to maintain high standards
• Oversee contract renewals and renegotiations to optimize terms and consolidate spend
• Develop and implement efficient procurement workflows balancing transparency and speed
• Collaborate with Legal and Security to ensure vendor compliance with data privacy and security requirements
4. Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management, preferably in Fintech, Insurtech, or SaaS
• Proven experience managing diverse spend categories, especially Technology/SaaS and Third-Party Data
• Skilled in financial modeling and spend analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership
• Effective negotiator knowledgeable in volume-based pricing and data licensing
• Understanding of modern technology stacks and ability to engage with Engineering and Product teams
• Data-driven mindset using analytics to identify trends and opportunities for consolidation
• Ability to manage relationships with large data providers and startups alike
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The US national base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000 to $226,000, determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay depends on work location and factors such as skills, experience, and education.
