2. About the Opportunity:The Senior Director, People Operations will lead and scale the people operations systems, tools, analytics, and programs that support the global People organization. This role is responsible for translating business priorities into scalable operational solutions across the employee lifecycle. The position is critical for ensuring effective people technology, analytics, onboarding, and lifecycle operations, driving exceptional employee experiences and enabling the organization’s growth.
3. Responsibilities:• Own People Operations strategy and operating model across systems, programs, analytics, and service delivery for a global workforce
• Lead and develop a high-performing People Operations team with clear prioritization and governance
• Manage the People technology ecosystem, including HRIS and integrated tools for payroll, benefits, onboarding, performance, and talent acquisition
• Lead HRIS implementations and optimizations from strategy to adoption
• Drive cross-functional People programs and initiatives with strong project management discipline
• Develop People analytics and reporting with governance for data accuracy and consistency
• Continuously improve onboarding and employee lifecycle processes in partnership with TA, IT, Legal, Finance, and business leaders
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Operations on ATS, compliance, and recruiting-to-onboarding workflows
• Partner with Total Rewards to operationalize and scale benefits and compensation processes
• Manage People Operations vendors ensuring compliance, performance, and alignment with organizational needs
4. Requirements:• 15 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition or HR, including 7 years in senior operations leadership roles, preferably in high-growth tech environments
• Proven expertise in HRIS systems with end-to-end implementations and integrations (e.g., Workday, Rippling, UKG, BambooHR, ADP)
• Strong program and project management skills managing complex global initiatives
• Experience in People analytics and reporting, including dashboard creation and metric definition
• Knowledge of Talent Acquisition Operations and recruiting systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever)
• Experience scaling onboarding and employee lifecycle operations
• Understanding of Benefits and Compensation operational processes and vendor management
• Excellent cross-functional communication and partnership skills
• Proven people management experience coaching high-performing teams
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting globally distributed technology teams across multiple regions and time zones
• Hands-on experience improving People service delivery models and building scalable self-service solutions
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Zone 1 (San Francisco/Bay Area, NYC Metro, Boston, Seattle): $214,000 - $295,000, inclusive of 20% bonus target
• Zone 2 (Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago): $193,000 - $265,000, inclusive of 20% bonus target
• Zone 3 (All other US locations): $182,000 - $251,000, inclusive of 20% bonus target
• Compensation includes Restricted Stock Units, health, vision, dental insurance, and mental health benefits
