About the Opportunity:The Risk Operations Analyst*plays a critical role in protecting the payments platform by investigating high-risk merchant accounts and transactions to prevent fraud and credit losses. This position contributes to maintaining a secure environment for customers, identifying emerging fraud trends, and enhancing risk management processes, ensuring the integrity and trustworthiness of the payment system.
3. Responsibilities:• Review high-risk transactions and account activities in a fast-paced queue-based setting.
• Conduct detailed investigations by collecting and analyzing merchant business and account information.
• Identify and report emerging fraud and risk patterns.
• Provide feedback and propose improvements to risk workflows.
• Support merchants by facilitating a smooth and secure experience.
• Maintain operational production and quality standards.
4. Requirements:• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fraud or risk management, including work in queue-based or support roles.
• Customer-focused mindset with effective collaboration skills across teams.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and proactively address potential issues.
• Strong commitment to learning and expanding expertise in fraud and risk.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays within Pacific Time zone business hours.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in payments or eCommerce.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Compensation varies by location and experience; estimated base pay ranges include $79,500 to $119,500 in certain regions.
• Eligibility for corporate bonuses and equity awards may apply based on individual plans and qualifications.
