About the Opportunity
The Regional Manager, Central is responsible for the overall performance of multiple stores within the region, ensuring strategic planning and execution to achieve business goals. This role partners with Store Managers to build effective teams, drive sales and profitability, and enhance customer experience. The position is critical for aligning regional operations with broader organizational priorities and sustaining a culture of inclusion and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Oversight & Alignment: Set clear expectations for store leadership and hold teams accountable for results. Communicate business priorities to ensure organizational alignment, maximize opportunities, and improve productivity.
  • Financial & Market Performance: Achieve regional sales, profitability, and overall financial goals. Manage store and regional budgets, analyze market demographics, and monitor local competition to develop targeted regional growth strategies.
  • Operations & Performance Consistency: Optimize store scheduling to maintain customer service coverage. Identify underperforming stores and implement targeted improvement plans. Conduct regular store visits to ensure operational readiness, policy compliance, and adherence to visual marketing standards.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Train store managers on evaluating business performance using key metrics. Make employment decisions to sustain diverse, high-performing teams while supporting onboarding, employee learning, and talent development. Build a strong talent pipeline through active recruitment and succession planning.
  • Customer Experience & Culture: Serve as an active coach and model organizational values to foster an engaged, inclusive workplace culture. Ensure stores deliver exceptional customer service aligned with corporate standards, using customer feedback to proactively address and prevent operational concerns.

Requirements
  • Team Leadership: Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and developing retail teams or equivalent operational leadership experience. Proven success building committed, high-performing teams with strong retention rates.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficient in the quantitative and analytical evaluation of sales and financial data, with a record of executing business-savvy decisions.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels, paired with strong interpersonal skills for engaging diverse groups.
  • Operational Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet strict deadlines, and multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Systems: Proficient with modern retail technology systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and professional video conferencing tools.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of professional experience and training.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel across the designated region as required to fulfill operational duties.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
  • Starting Salary Range: $122,699 to $141,107 per year.
  • Merit Growth: Potential to increase up to $153,400 per year based on individual merit, length of service, and performance factors.
  • Note: Final salary consideration evaluates candidate skills, professional background, and experience. Base pay reflects market location and is subject to prevailing wage laws.
