It addresses challenges in manufacturing related to workforce engagement and collaboration by integrating frontline teams across Production, Maintenance, and Quality through software and coaching. Serving over 1000 customers, 1200 plants, and 325,000 users, the organization supports real-time decision making at the operational level, delivering measurable productivity improvements.
2. About the Opportunity:The Operational Excellence Managerleads Lean and cultural transformations for customers primarily in the Food & Beverage, CPG, and General Manufacturing sectors. This remote, full-time role involves implementing software solutions and providing expert coaching to drive continuous improvement and operational gains. The position requires significant travel and direct engagement with shop floor staff, leaders, and executives to foster growth and productivity improvements.
3. Responsibilities:• Manage and coach 5 to 7 customer accounts simultaneously
• Train customers on software workflows during multiple 90-day onsite deployments
• Facilitate shop-floor huddles and leadership meetings to support operational actions
• Monitor performance data and improvements throughout deployments
• Lead process improvement and kaizen initiatives
• Provide feedback to frontline teams and leadership to promote positive changes
• Conduct weekly remote progress meetings with customers
• Identify and help celebrate key success stories
• Manage project schedules and timelines
• Conduct success assessments after project completion
• Deliver executive summaries and program information to customers
• Troubleshoot technical issues as needed
• Assist customers in planning next steps in their operational journey
• Perform other related duties as assigned
4. Requirements:• Senior operations leadership experience in manufacturing
• Hands-on experience in roles such as Operations Manager, Production Supervisor, or Continuous Improvement Manager
• Proficient in applying Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for production and improvement
• Ability to manage multiple demands in dynamic environments
• Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Good judgment and assessment capabilities
• Time management skills suited for fast-paced, growing environments
• Prioritization skills to meet deadlines in active projects
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
• Comfortable with technical communication regarding networking and software
• Ability to learn required software
• PLC experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Valid state driver’s license required
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Management
• Two years of direct coaching experience preferred but not required
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Base pay range: $125,000 to $150,000 USD annually
• Placement within range depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity
• Eligibility for additional performance incentives
