2. About the Opportunity:The Marketing Operations Specialist role serves as a key member of the global marketing team, reporting to the Senior Director, Integrated Marketing. The position provides critical support by managing the financial and operational processes that enable marketing campaigns across channels to launch efficiently. This role is designed to develop skills relevant to brand, retail, media, and category leadership through hands-on ownership of marketing operations.
3. Responsibilities:• Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, including creation, approval tracking, amendments, and closeout for all marketing channels
• Process vendor and agency invoices from submission through payment, ensuring accurate coding, documentation, and compliance with contracts and budgets
• Act as primary contact for vendor billing inquiries, dispute resolution, and payment status
• Maintain the marketing budget tracker to provide real-time spend visibility by vendor, channel, campaign, region, and cost center
• Coordinate new vendor setup with Accounting and Procurement and support budgeting cycles
• Monitor spend compliance and escalate deviations to marketing leadership; train team members on PO and invoice processes
• Oversee Asana project management including board structure, templates, task management, reporting, and maintain the master marketing calendar
• Manage recurring team meetings and project deliverables to support the marketing operating rhythm
• Coordinate NDA, MSA, and SOW routing with Legal, tracking approvals and execution
• Serve as a liaison between Marketing and other departments such as FP&A, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, IT, and People Operations
• Organize logistics for team events, workshops, and agency reviews; prepare materials for leadership presentations
4. Requirements:• Over 3 years of experience in marketing operations, coordination, agency account management, finance operations, or similar roles
• Practical experience with invoice processing, purchase orders, and budget tracking, preferably in marketing or agency settings
• Strong financial literacy and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging vendors and senior stakeholders
• Proficiency with project management tools, preferably Asana
• Growth mindset and interest in brand, marketing, retail, and consumer business dynamics
• Experience in consumer packaged goods, direct-to-consumer, or omnichannel consumer brands
• Familiarity with media, agency, creator, or production-related spending
• Exposure to retail or Amazon marketing operations
