About the Opportunity: The IT Software Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining various applications, including web, mobile, desktop, and server platforms. This position specifically supports Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) development and sustainment for Built Environment Testing operations across the US. The role contributes by delivering robust technical solutions that support operational needs and system integration, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of testing services. 3. Responsibilities:
Write and maintain well-documented, testable source code
Design and develop full stack web applications using .NET, Vue, and Angular frameworks
Develop and maintain REST API services and internal system integrations
Design and develop Microsoft SQL databases, including data modeling and stored procedures
Create secure, robust applications using object-oriented and service-oriented design
Collaborate with architects and designers to develop viable design solutions
Work with functional and business analysts to review and improve functional specifications
Participate in design sessions and contribute based on experience
Apply software engineering best practices and modern development methodologies
Identify needs, gaps, and new requirements to contribute to technical evolution
Recommend improvements for system efficiency and functionality
Integrate systems with industry-specific hardware and software
4. Requirements:
Associates degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent
2 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with C#, .NET/Framework, Web API, HTML, JavaScript, Vue JS, Angular JS, CSS, T-SQL
Experience with Source Code Management tools such as Azure DevOps Git
Experience with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
Preferred experience with testing frameworks like xUnit
Preferred experience with Quasar Framework and Angular Material
Preferred experience with Microsoft IIS deployments
Preferred experience with iOS and Android development
Preferred experience with Java development
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
This role has a starting salary range of $70,000 (discussion based on experience)
