2. About the Opportunity:The District Manager leads the execution of sales strategies and operational standards across multiple retail locations to drive sales performance and key performance indicators. This role bridges strategic objectives with field execution, ensuring adherence to company processes while fostering strong relationships with business partners. The position is critical in maintaining brand standards, developing store leadership, and managing operational risks including safety and loss prevention.
3. Responsibilities:• Lead customer experience initiatives to maximize sales and customer loyalty in assigned stores
• Monitor competitive landscape and share insights with business partners
• Ensure compliance with brand standards including merchandising and marketing
• Develop recruitment, training, and motivation programs to build and maintain talent pools
• Assess and support Store Managers in talent development and team engagement
• Maintain safe store environments and enforce loss prevention procedures
• Analyze reports related to shrink, damages, and banking controls
• Ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and related safety procedures
• Drive execution of company processes through training and continuous improvement
• Manage payroll and controllable expenses effectively
• Support digital strategies including omni-channel fulfillment models
• Oversee real estate considerations related to site feedback, relocations, openings, and closures
• Utilize technology and company tools to meet business objectives
• Collaborate closely with Operations Business Partners
4. Requirements:• High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree preferred but not required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business, management, or merchandising
• Specialty retail or trade knowledge with problem-solving and associate engagement skills
• Experience in Multi-Unit or Big Box Retail Management preferred
• Strong capabilities in candidate selection, sourcing, and education
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising techniques, and sales promotions
• Ability to plan, organize, lead, and control operations effectively
• Skill in analyzing market trends and communicating competitive insights
• Understanding of store capabilities and growth potential
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight and weekends, for meetings and events
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
