2. About the Opportunity:The Data Analytics & Insights Manager role leads a team of analysts embedded across the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) function. The position is responsible for driving an embedded analytics approach by partnering with business leaders, managing analysts aligned to clinical, operations, customer success, and delivery teams. This role ensures the development and validation of data outputs that support consistent, trusted analytics, contributing to operational excellence and client success within PBM.
3. Responsibilities:• Manage and coach a team of analysts, supporting their growth and performance
• Oversee analysts embedded in PBM, clinical, customer success, delivery, and operations teams
• Prioritize projects to align analysts with high-impact workstreams
• Assist analysts in interpreting complex pharmacy claims data and program outcomes
• Develop scalable, validated data products and performance metrics
• Translate business questions into structured analyses with clear outputs
• Collaborate with leadership for business reviews, client deliverables, and program evaluations
• Monitor PBM market trends to maintain data relevance
• Support analytics infrastructure initiatives including metric standardization and governance
• Coordinate with Engineering and Product teams to build secure and scalable analytics systems
4. Requirements:• Minimum of 4 years managing analytics teams with strong people management skills
• Experience fostering inclusive, collaborative team environments
• Ability to guide technical and professional development of team members
• Proven performance management and coaching abilities
• 6-8 years’ experience in quantitative analytics related to pharmacy benefits, PBM analytics, or healthcare data
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database technologies
• Experience with modern data tools such as dbt, Redshift, and Snowflake
• Skilled in data visualization and storytelling using BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Metabase
• Experience in metric standardization, analytics governance, and data democratization
• Capability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution
• Strong communication skills to translate complex analyses for varied audiences
• Commitment to building sustainable analytics infrastructure and driving measurable outcomes
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Base salary ranges from $130,000 to $165,000
• Offer amounts vary based on geographic location for remote and in-office roles
