2. About the Opportunit
y:The Data Analyst / Scientist role is a full-time, remote-friendly position focused on applying statistical science and modern data tools to complex research datasets. This position collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to generate insights, design and evaluate analytical methods, and communicate results effectively to both scientific and non-technical audiences. The role supports rigorous, reproducible research and contributes to advancing the organization''s data-driven research objectiv
es.
3. Responsibilit
ies:• Design, configure, and maintain dashboards for specialized workgr
oups.
• Conduct statistical analyses using R, Python, and other tools, applying appropriate biostatistical methods including mixed-effects and longitudinal m
odels.
• Utilize AI and machine learning techniques for pattern detection, predictive modeling, and data quality assessment across multi-modal da
tasets.
• Evaluate and advise on experimental and study design to ensure analytical validity and proper handling of confounds and cov
ariates.
• Organize and manage datasets and data dictionaries, perform quality control checks, and conduct preliminary analyses to maintain data i
ntegrity.
• Collaborate across teams to define data needs, resolve quality issues, and support reproducible research
workflows.
• Document analytical methods, pipelines, and findings clearly for scientific and internal
audiences.
• Track project progress and contribute to a culture of rigorous, reproduci
ble science.

Requirements:• PhD in Neuroscience, Psychology, Epidemiology, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science,
or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of full-time experience in data analysis and data science fundamentals, preferably in clinical or res
earch settings.
• Minimum five years experience with scientific programming languages such as Python, R, or Matlab, including relevant libraries
and frameworks.
• Advanced expertise in biostatistics suitable for observational and experimental
research designs.
• Proven experience with experimental design principles including power analysis, randomization, an
d bias mitigation.
• Experience applying AI/ML tools in analytical or
research contexts.
• At least one year working in Linux environments with version control (e.g., GitHub) and virtualization (e.g.
, Docker) platforms.
• Proficiency in visualizing compl
ex longitudinal data.
• Minimum three years experience with data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR
) and rese
arch ethics.
Preferred:• Background in neuroscience, genomics, clinical research, o
r related life sciences.
• Experience handling large-scale, multi
-modal research datasets.
• Familiarity with reproducible research practices including
notebook-based workflows.
