2. About the Opportunity:The Communication Specialist role is responsible for capturing sensitive information through inbound calls related to confidential workplace issues and unethical conduct. This position contributes by enabling clients to gain insight into workplace risks and helping improve organizational environments. The role directly impacts the quality of service provided by the Hotline and Incident Management program and supports maintaining trust and confidentiality. This is a remote, customer-facing role requiring emotional resilience and strong communication skills.
3. Responsibilities:• Engage reporters with care and ensure confidentiality
• Answer inbound calls promptly and follow intake procedures
• Conduct guided interviews to accurately capture report details
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information
• Support special projects and departmental tasks as assigned
• Adhere to scheduled shifts and maintain flexibility for 24/7 operations
4. Requirements:• Strong customer service skills and results orientation
• Emotional resilience in handling sensitive and distressing information
• Availability to work at least one weekend day per week
• Quiet, secure remote workspace with recommended internet speeds of 25 mbps download and 10 mbps upload
• Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM
• Ability to multitask while interviewing and recording information accurately
• Experience with MS Office and proprietary software navigation
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation and accountability
• Willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to enhance work
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Starting pay is $15.50 per hour
• Starting pay for bilingual roles is $17.50 per hour
