1. About Our Client:The organization operates in the last mile logistics industry, addressing inefficiencies, high costs, and environmental and safety concerns associated with traditional delivery methods. It provides drone delivery services using a fleet of highly automated drones capable of transporting small packages from businesses to homes on demand within minutes. The organization designs, builds, and operates its own aircraft and offers services across two continents. Its technology integrates with existing delivery and logistics networks, delivering scalable drone solutions for a variety of businesses. It is part of a larger parent company and aims to become the preferred delivery method globally.
2. About the Opportunity:The Analytics Manager will join the Analytics team to transform complex business challenges into clear, data-driven decisions. This role involves analyzing large datasets, building models, and conducting scenario analyses to quantify impact and support strategic decision-making. The manager communicates insights that enable leadership to make informed decisions and develops tools to operationalize analytics across the organization. This position can be based in Palo Alto, CA, or remotely within the US.
3. Responsibilities:• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Select appropriate data sources for accurate and actionable analyses.
• Build models to evaluate tradeoffs and measure impact.
• Perform scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to inform strategy.
• Present analytical findings with clear recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop and scale dashboards, automated workflows, and self-serve analytics.
• Collaborate with leadership to define ambiguous problems as analytical questions.
4. Requirements:• 8+ years in analytics, data science, business analytics, consulting, or strategic data roles.
• Bachelor''s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as data analytics or mathematics.
• Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python).
• Ability to convert complex and ambiguous business problems into actionable solutions.
• Strong communication skills with expertise in delivering clear, decision-focused presentations.
• Experience in building scenario models, forecasts, or tradeoff analyses for business guidance.
• Demonstrated leadership and ownership through managing projects and delivering results across teams.
• Capability to influence and partner with leadership across multiple functions.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• US base salary range: $192,000—$204,000 USD plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
