About the Role One of our clients is hiring for a Mechanical Engineer to support plant operations and maintenance while driving reliability improvements through condition-based maintenance programs. This role is ideal for early-career engineers looking to build strong technical expertise through hands-on experience and a structured development program. Key Responsibilities
Support plant operations by ensuring optimal performance of mechanical equipment
Develop and manage condition-based and preventative maintenance programs
Monitor equipment performance using vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and NDT
Create preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs)
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and data-driven problem solving
Improve equipment reliability and increase MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
Collaborate with equipment suppliers and plant teams for efficient operations
Optimize SAP maintenance systems and support maintenance planning activities
Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance teams
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across plant operations
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field (or equivalent experience)
0–3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
Understanding of reliability engineering concepts (CBM, RCA, FMEA, predictive maintenance)
Familiarity with condition monitoring techniques (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Willingness to travel (~5%)
