Support daily plant operations by monitoring and optimizing process performance
Assist in troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions
Analyze process data to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and technical teams on continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in process safety management (PSM) and ensure compliance with safety standards
Contribute to process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reports
Support capital and small project initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
Exposure to polymers, plastics, or related processes through coursework, internships, or research
Recent graduate or early-career (0–2 years of experience)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within a structured environment
Preferred Qualifications
Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in polymer or chemical manufacturing
Familiarity with process simulation tools or data analysis software
Local to the Houston and surrounding areas (or strong ties to the region)
Graduates from local institutions such as University of Houston or nearby universities strongly encouraged to apply
