About the Job
We are looking for a senior systems engineer - network to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, high-performance network infrastructure. This role leads complex initiatives, ensures reliability, and partners with cross-functional teams to support enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
What You'll Do
  • Develop, maintain and execute on disaster recovery / redundancy strategies.
  • Subject Matter Expert of one or more technology Domains.
  • Partnering with vendors and enterprise teams on emerging best practices, patterns and technology.
  • Proactively learn emerging platforms and related technology.
  • Ability to solve complex technical issues and enable/teach peers to be self-sufficient.
  • Establish and maintain best practices as it relates to compliance, security, privacy and legal requirements.
  • Anticipate deviations from standard practices and find practical ways to move forward.
  • Closely follow industry trends relevant to your domain and understand how to apply them to your work as appropriate.
  • Break down complex problems into smaller, more manageable ones, and help others to do the same.
  • Understand what tools are available and useful for your domain, how they work, and the sorts of situations and problems for which they're useful.
  • Use them effectively and teach them to your teammates.

What You'll Bring to the Hire
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-5 years professional experience.
  • 5 years' experience with at least one OS/hosting platform.
  • 4 years' experience with Cloud based PaaS and SaaS.
  • platforms and integration points to On Prem infrastructure.
  • 5 years' experience with monitoring and performance management of systems.
  • 5 years' experience with Scripting development.
  • 5 years' experience with networking knowledge.
  • 4 years' experience with modern development and scripting languages.
  • Experience with CICD concepts, and tools, branching strategies and leveraging knowledge to assist in delivering an infrastructure as a product.
  • Experience with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise network design, implementation, and operations
  • Strong experience with routing, switching, firewalls and network security
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive technical decisions
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud network environments
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on reliability and scalability
