Semantic Support Specialist
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: 100% Remote
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support semantic markup (i.e., evaluating and maintaining our markup standardsand focused in particular on changes we may need to support non-book content and modular content).
This person should have:Deep hands‑on experience with XML standards, with strong working knowledge of XML BITS 2.0 (XLIFF, XSLT, and QTI are strong pluses, as well)
Experience supporting non-book content and modular content.
Proven experience evaluating and evolving semantic markup models in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
Strong understanding of modular content architectures, reuse strategies, and component‑based publishing.
Demonstrated ability to translate abstract business needs into concrete, enforceable technical standards.
Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder‑facilitation skills.
