Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects including tables, views, indexes, sequences, synonyms, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Develop robust and efficient PL/SQL programs to implement business logic and backend processing.
- Write complex SQL queries involving joins, subqueries, analytical functions, and performance optimization techniques.
- Perform query tuning and performance optimization using execution plans, indexing strategies, and Oracle performance tools.
- Work closely with Business Analysts and application teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable database solutions.
- Design and maintain database schemas, ensuring proper normalization and data integrity.
- Handle data validation, data cleansing, and data integrity checks across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in development, QA, and production environments.
- Support database releases, deployments, and change management processes.
- Implement and maintain database security, roles, privileges, and access controls in Oracle.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to PL/SQL coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with QA teams for data validation, UAT support, and defect resolution.
- Provide production support, including performance tuning and issue resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
