Senior/Executive Director of Human Resources Precigen is a dedicated commercial, discovery and clinical stage biopharmaceutical company advancing the next generation of gene and cell therapies using precision technology to target the most urgent and intractable diseases in our core therapeutic areas of immuno-oncology, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases. We are seeking an onsite Human Resources leader to lead and elevate the HR function at Precigen, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and a high-performing workplace culture. In this executive role, you will design, implement, and sustain strategic HR initiatives that support both organizational goals and site-level needs. You will partner closely with site leadership to ensure alignment between business objectives and HR strategy, drive change management efforts, and oversee the delivery of core HR processes with consistency and excellence. Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is essential for success in this role. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, required
8+ years of executive or administrative HR leadership experience, ideally within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Proven success managing people, systems, and processes in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Ability to utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to develop solutions.
Highly self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects, complex employee relations matters, and competing deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality results
Solid relationship management skills across functions and levels.
Comfort partnering with legal on complex matters.

Responsibilities
Lead all site HR activities, partnering with site leadership to align and execute HR strategies, drive organizational change, and ensure consistent delivery of core HR processes
Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leaves of absence, professional development, and performance management
Collaborate across the organization to design, coordinate, and implement best-practice HR programs tailored to site needs
Ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local HR and labor regulations
Support Precigen’s leadership team by providing coaching, guidance, and access to HR resources thatbuild capability, advance strategy, and drive results
Analyze HR issues and trends at the site level and partner with leadership to develop effective, performance-enhancing solutions
Serve as a member of site leadership teams, offering strategic HR counsel and contributing to innovative solutions that support business objectives
Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships across the site to enhance communication, collaboration, and overall HR effectiveness
Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve HR and organizational goals
