**Job Title: Part-Time Staff Accountant **

**Position Summary: **

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Part-Time Staff Accountant ** to support our client's finance team with core accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cash reporting, and basic general ledger tasks. This role will also assist with month-end close and work collaboratively with our external CPA.

**Key Responsibilities: **

- Manage **accounts payable and receivable **, including invoice processing, billing, and collections.

- Prepare **weekly and monthly cash reports ** and assist with **cash flow forecasting **.

- Reconcile **sales orders against invoices ** to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Perform **general ledger reconciliations ** and investigate discrepancies.

- Support the **month-end close process **, including journal entries and account analysis.

- Collaborate with the **outside CPA ** to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and tax preparation.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

**Qualifications: **

- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (AP/AR focus strongly preferred).

- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms).

- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.

- Excellent communication skills, especially in coordinating with external CPA partners.
