Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) based in Southwest Ranches, FL, with flexibility for remote work as approved. The LMFT will provide evidence-based counseling services to individuals, couples, and families facing a diverse range of challenges. Responsibilities include conducting regular therapy sessions, creating treatment plans, providing guidance on mental and emotional well-being, maintaining detailed client records, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The LMFT will also promote holistic approaches to mental health and coordinate care that aligns with Positive Therapy FL’s integrative wellness philosophy. Qualifications
Proficiency in Relationship Counseling and Family Therapy
Strong expertise in Counseling and Mental Health practices
Background in Psychology and a deep understanding of cognitive and behavioral principles
Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or
LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in
the state of Florida
Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills
Familiarity with evidence-based therapy approaches and techniques
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Experience or interest in holistic and integrative wellness practices is a plus
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field
