What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various stages of construction projects
- Identify potential risks that may impact project delivery
- Develop and recommend strategies for mitigating identified risks
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to implement risk management plans
- Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience
- Experience in construction-related risk management is highly preferred
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with risk management software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for risk analysis and reporting
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or PMI-RMP (Project Management Risk Professional) are preferred
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify potential risks that might not be immediately apparent
