What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various stages of construction projects
Identify potential risks that may impact project delivery
Develop and recommend strategies for mitigating identified risks
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to implement risk management plans
Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience
Experience in construction-related risk management is highly preferred
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with risk management software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for risk analysis and reporting
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or PMI-RMP (Project Management Risk Professional) are preferred
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify potential risks that might not be immediately apparent
