What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Prepare and manage production of civil design/construction plans, including notes, details, and cross-sections
- Lead the team in preparing technical stormwater calculations for athletic facility development
- Conduct technical reviews of engineering documents for compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with installation crews and sales teams to resolve technical and operational challenges
- Perform site construction visits and prepare associated field reports
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or a technical school degree with equivalent experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred (CA, OR, WA) with 6-10 years of experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and design
- Strong leadership skills to organize and assemble scope for new design projects
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle customer service demands effectively
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in civil site design, including site layout, grading, drainage, and earthwork
- Familiarity with bidding and estimating processes for project scope completion
- Knowledge of material compliance and subcontractor coordination
- Experience with stormwater management and environmental regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively in sales meetings and with clients
