What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Analyze data and business requirements, translating them into technical specifications
- Execute complex SQL queries against large datasets for insights and reporting
- Conduct data mapping, profiling, and source-to-target documentation
- Interface with business and technical stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
- Utilize Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies in project delivery
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst focused on data
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries
- Demonstrated experience in data mapping and profiling
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, or Microsoft Fabric
- Strong communication skills for effective interactions with stakeholders
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools
- Prior work experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) or ERP data pipelines
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management
- Familiarity with Excel, Visio, and other documentation tools
